I have been journaling on and off for a few months now. When I started, I wrote about my stuttering and the challenges I would face every day. I tried to document everything I would face during my social interaction with others. Things about the situation I was in, my emotions, my behavior, my uncontrolled twitching and all the other weird ways I have come to combat and cope with stuttering.
This not only improved my relationship with myself and...

I am finally coming to terms with myself that I am an addict.
I am addicted to social media and YouTube.
I am addicted to X and Bluesky.
I am addicted to sugar and junk food.
I am addicted to few other things I am embarrassed to share online. But it is clear that I am an addict.
I decide to work on my goals, my side projects and read books. But I end up spending time on things I...

So I achieved a lot of things this year. Some of the notables are
- Took off 30 kgs. From 125kgs to 95kgs with help of water fasting.
- Moved to Germany to pursue my masters
- Joined Hackerspace Marburg and got to work on projects.
- Made German friends. (It is easy, join a club)
- Started learning German
- Landed a Working Student job in couple of months.
- And the best thing, getting to know myself and experiencing freedom.

If you have ever worked with Ruby on Rails, you will quickly find that a lot of methods are added to the standard library. We don’t have methods such as

ortableize
onString
when working with vanilla ruby. If you have ever played with Ruby outside the Rails ecosystem, you will quickly find out that the methods you took for granted in Rails doesn’t exist in vanilla Ruby.Ruby on Rails add fluency to your...

TLDR: Nothing special here, got fed up of JS land and Vercel and moved to Bridgetown.
The blogging platform for this website has changed more than the number of posts I have on this website. First it started with Scully (Angular library), then I switched to Ghost (deployed on Fly.io), then it moved to Astro (deployed on Vercel) and now, it is finally migrating to Bridgetown which will be hosted on GitHub pages....

I didn’t understood the value of minimalism and launching fast until I wanted to launch my blog.
For quite sometime, I wanted to be a better writer. I had a blog on fly.io, which would crash almost every couple of week. (It was running ghost on free plan)
I wanted to move to Astro and do my own thing. Looking for inspiration, I stumbled on lots of different personal blogs like Marco Roth and Avi Flombaum. I...

Ever since I started learning Rails, I have been following a few individuals online and reading their blogs. From the top of my head, I can recall Marco Roth, Chris Oliver, and Akshay Khot among them.
One person who particularly caught my interest is Akshay Khot. He had been a C# developer for approximately seven years before transitioning to Ruby on Rails.
As a fellow C# developer who aspires to find refuge in Rails, I thoroughly examined his blog but...

When I launched this blog, my main goal was to build authority in the indie-hackers space. I want to communicate my thoughts and the phases I go through during my journey.
But I was lazy to write any post. You can see, the last post I published was around 6 months back. It was published in November, now we are talking in May. You can clearly see the lack of commitment. It was not that I don’t want to write....
